G-7 sector is one of the oldest sectors of Islamabad. The sector G-7 borders two most important roads of Islamabad, the Faisal Avenue and the Srinagar Highway.  It is situated right next to the beautiful and lush green Shakarparian National Park which is one of the biggest parks in Islamabad. More than 70% of houses in G-7 are reserved for the government employees, still, there is plenty of opportunity for buying, selling and renting of properties in G-7.

Location

G-7 is located right in the middle of the sectors G-6 and G-8 . It borders the Blue Area on Jinnah Avenue. G-7 borders two of the most important roads of Islamabad, the Faisal Avenue and the Srinagar Highway. On the south side we have the very beautiful Shakarparian National Park bordering the Srinagar Highway.

As a standard of most of the CDA sectors of Islamabad, the Sector G-6 also has a total covered area of 2 kilometer square. 

 

G-7 Markaz:

G-7 Markaz includes all the necessary amenities the residence of the locality could require. G-7 markaz is famously referred to as “The Sitara Market” where you can find all sorts of shops, convenience stores, local food places, clothing stores, barbers, cobblers and alot more. G-7 is also visited because of the very popular market that almost every resident of Islamabad, owning a car, has at least heard about is the Khadda Market. Here you can find many shops which will solve all your car related issues. You can find a lot of hotels in the sector as well such as Sitara Hotel and Hotel Blue Sky.

 

Sub Sectors:

All of the four sub sectors of G-7 are packed with grocery shops, salons, mosques, schools, parks etc. for the convenience of the residents.

 

G-7/1 

The G-7/1 sub sector has a beautiful view of the Shakarparian Park by the south side. G-7/1 offers a couple of markets including the Chenab Market where you can find all sorts of convenience stores, mosques and a few more shops. One of the important landmarks is present in this subsector, the Fire Brigade HQ. The Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited is also located in the sector, facing Faisal Avenue. Yoo can also find decent local food places including Khyber Restaurant.

 

G-7/2

What G-7/2 has to offer is the Rooh Afza Market and the Awami Market which has all the basic shops that residents may require including convenience stores, bakeries, tailors etc. Few of the notable schools/colleges in this sub sector include F.G Girls Highschool and Shafiq-ur-Rehman Shaheed Model College for Boys. Other shops for convenience include convenience stores, meat shops, barbers, a mosque etc.  The Falcon Football Ground can also be found in the subsector. 

 

G-7/3

In G-7/3 subsector you can find a couple of local markets including the Al Habib Market and Qadria Market that consist of all the necessary things for the residents of G-7/3. For a nice walk in the park, G-7/3 offers a Children's Park. In the education sector, you can find the Islamabad Model School for Boys and Khushnood Zeb Shaheed Model School. The aforementioned Polyclinic Dispensary is located in this subsector.

 

G-7/4

The Gol Market is the local market located in this sub sector which includes all the necessary shops one may requirelike convenience stores, bakeries, tailors, barbers, dairy shops, local restaurants and more. The CDA football ground is also available for sports enthusiasts. The famous university, Riphah international University can also be found in the sub sector. A few notable and important offices can be found in this sub-sector as well, such as the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) Office and Capital Development Authority Secretariat.  

  

 

Ways to commute:

Multiple modes of transportation are available in G-7, Islamabad. Taxis and wagons are some of the most common public transport options available. The popular Careem and Uber drivers are also conveniently and quickly found around the area in the sector for commuting. 

 

Medical care/ Hospitals:

In G-7 you can find quite a few clinics for immediate medical attention such as Ayaan Health Clinic and Raheem Clinic . A few Clinics can also be found in the Sub sectors of G-7 Markaz such as Wali Health Clinic, and Zarar Health Clinic. If that is not enough, you can always visit the adjoining BlueArea bordering the northern edge of the sector where you can find a few clinics as well as a very significant hospital,  Kulsum International hospital.
