ISLAMABAD: The Census Advisory Committee, consisting of the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, has suggested adopting the de jure method for the 7th Population and Housing Census.
The committee also advised that the concept of “usual residents” be clarified, with all enumerators receiving extensive training to ensure accurate and complete coverage.
According to the details, the de jure methodology may be used for comparison with the previous one, as well as conducting a pilot census in all provinces and testing the entire process for risk management and disaster recovery.
