SWABI: Rs150bn allocated to uplift the tribal areas in newly emerged tribal districts Khyber Pakhtunkhaw, told Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser.
In addition to this, a new grid station worth Rs.6bn, along with a special package, would be introduced to boost trade and business activities in tribal districts.
While addressing a ceremony, it was assured by the speaker that the issue of potable water in Swabi would be addressed on priority basis.
Previously, Prime Minister Imran Khan had announced that during his tenure, Rs100 billion annually would be spent to bring unprecedented development in what formerly were known as Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata).
