For the initial testing plan, the trains are being run on diesel to complete the trials with all their components before opening to the public. The project will further be inspected and approved by Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, who will also attend the Orange Line inaugural function.

Furthermore, eight grid stations supply 60 Megawatts of electricity, General Manager Mass Transit Authority, Ozair Shah previously informed.

The OLMT fares are expected to cost from Rs 30 to 40, in accordance with the Metro Bus fares. To facilitate almost 3.5 hundred thousand passengers daily and make multiple rounds from 5 am to 12 am, the management set up economical prices after meeting with representatives of the transport department to discuss train fares.

Aligned with international standards, digitised ticketing services will be offered to the commuters for convenience on all the 27 stations set up for the Orange Line Metro Train, including Raiwind, Multan Road, Mc Leord Road, Lahore Railway Station and GT Road.
