Peshawar: District Administration, has demolished more than 70 illegal encroachments, retrieving 50 kanals of state land in Meera Kachori near Peshawar.
On orders by Deputy Commissioner Peshawar, Dr. Imran Hamid Sheikh, the operation was supervised by Additional Deputy Commissioner Shahid Ali Khan and Assistant Commissioner Sara Rahman. Other people as a part of the operation included the Town Municipal Officer Waheed –ur-Rahman, SHO Chamkani Ahmadullah Khan, Rescue 1122 and officials from varied departments.
Meanwhile, more operations on anti-encroachment have led to demolition of 46 constructions in Dargai Malakand and a retrieval of 38 marla commercial state land worth Rs.38,000,000.
Pre notices for anti- encroachments had already been issued resulting in the demolition of such invasions.
