ISLAMABAD: The Senate unanimously passed three bills, including The Special Technology Zones Authority Bill, 2021.
The bill aimed to boost the Information Technology (IT) sector offers a tax exemption of 10 years to zone developers and enterprises to boost the sector by attracting foreign direct investment. This development will also result in the generation of employment.

The two other bills approved were the PAF Air War College Institute Bill 2021 and The Control of Narcotic Substances (Second Amendment) Bill, 2020).
