ISLAMABAD: According to the data released by the Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), the number of Real Estate (RE) and Construction companies in March registered with SECP reaches 414.
As per the data, the commission in March has observed an increase of 72pc in the registration process of companies as compared to the companies registered in the same month of last year. The total number of companies registered with the commission in March stood at 2,513.
According to the details, the 99pc companies were registered through the online platform of SECP moreover, application procedures of 25pc of the companies were registered on the same day.
In the first three quarters of the current fiscal year, the number of companies registered with SECP reached 19,251 representing an increase of 39pc on annual basis as compared to, 16,945 companies registered in 2019-2020.
The increase in the number of enterprises is attributed to the measures taken by SECP for ease of doing business and digitalisation. Currently, the total number of companies registered with the commission is 139,620.
