Remittances recorded over $2bn for consecutive tenth month

KARACHI: According to the data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Monday, remittances of overseas Pakistanis continued their momentum and were recorded over $2bn for the consecutive tenth month.

As per the data, the month of March recorded remittances of $2.7bn and showing an increase of 43pc as compared to the same period of the last fiscal year.

The net remittances for the period of July-March FY-21 have been recorded at $21.5bn showing an increase of 26pc as compared to the last year.
