Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) is facing complications in collection of commercialization fee from owners of illegal plazas, markets and shops situated on non-commercial roads. The complexity arises from inability of RDA officials to issue commercialization fee challans at five percent of the total commercialization fee.
RDA officials of respective control areas do not have the authority to convert non-commercial roads to commercial status. They can only put forth the request in the authority meeting.
