RDA collects Rs10.74mn in fine from illegal commercial activities

Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has collected Rs10.74mn as a result of various commercial illegal activities being conducted in Rawalpindi.

As per the details, the fine was collected by Land Use and Building Control Section (LU&BC) along with the Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate of RDA in the drive against illegal commercial activities.

While speaking on the occasion, the official of RDA told that the civic authority has started a drive against illegal commercial activities, and land encroachment in the areas administered by RDA.

According to the details, (MP&TE) directorate of RDA also took legal action against three illegal housing schemes in Rawalpindi.
