RAWALPINDI: The District Administration initiated the process to determine the land acquisition rates for the 38.3km long Rawalpindi Ring Road (RRR) project, costing Rs6.7 billion.
In this regard, a price assessment committee comprising of the Additional Commissioner Revenue, Assistant Commissioners Saddar and Gujar Khan, the District Attorney, Director Land and Estate Management of Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Executive Officer Building, District Accounts Officer, Deputy Director Local Fund Audit, Excise and Taxation Officer, Sub-registrar Rural, Assistant Director Land Record and a Representative of the Commissioner has been formed under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ali.
The price will be set after the Price Assessment Committee visits the R3 project, commencing from Banth near Rawat and ending at Thalian near the motorway.
The committee has been tasked to complete the assignment within a month, after which the Prime Minister lay the foundation for the R3, Leh Expressway, and Flood Channel projects on December 25.
