LAHORE: To improve the road infrastructure, the Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved two development schemes estimated at Rs2.322 billion.
The schemes approved by the authority include the construction of a link road connecting GT Road to Sialkot – Lahore Motorway (Gujranwala to Eminabad), costing Rs748.686 million, and the dualisation of Sialkot – Eminabad Road up to Dharam Kot, (Sialkot) project worth Rs1.573 billion.
The projects aim to ease interprovincial connectivity.
