ISLAMABAD: In a historical step, Prime Minister Imran Khan distributes 1008 apartments and 500 houses, under the Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP).
The project implemented by the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Workers Welfare Fund is aimed at facilitating the low-income groups, widows, differently-abled persons, and factory workers.
After inspecting the houses, Chief Guest, PM Imran Khan distributed the ownership certificates among the recipients.
The ceremony was attended was Federal Minister for Housing and Works Mr. Tariq Bashir Cheema, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mr. Ali Muhammad Khan, Minister for Industries & Production Mr. Hammad Azhar, Minister Labour & Culture Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shaukat Yousafzai, Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Capital Development Authority Affairs Mr. Ali Nawaz Awan, SAPM Minister for Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development Mr. Sayed Zulfikar Ali Bukhari, Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting Senator Faisal Javed, and Chairman (NAPHDA) Lt. General (R) Anwar Ali Hyder.
