MNA Sumera Khan, Climate Change Senior Joint Secretary Hammad Shamimi, NHA Member (Admin) Capt. (R) Mushtaq Ahmed and Senior NHA and officials of the Communications and Climate Change Ministry were also present.

The usage of 55 billion plastic bags annually in the country is alarming. Hence elimination of plastic waste is an integral part of the Prime Minister’s Clean and Green Pakistan Programme, as they affect the environment and are also a cause of floods.
