PM directs for maximum spending on uplift schemes

LAHORE: While holding an online meeting with the officials of the Punjab government, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan directed the provincial government to ensure maximum spending on development schemes in the province.

According to the details, the PM was of the view that the provincial government should also take the services of a third party for inspecting and maintaining the quality of the project.

Furthermore, the PM in the meeting was briefed about the monsoon tree plantation drive and the protection and restoration of shrines in Punjab.

Speaking on the occasion, the PM directed all the relevant departments and their heads for the timely completion of the projects.

The PM also added that playgrounds should be developed in every district of the province to give youth maximum opportunities for showcasing their skills.
