Islamabad: The federal budget has allocated funds worth Rs26.049 million for the construction of a 200 bed nursing hospital at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).
Additional amount of Rs56.892 have been earmarked for the setting up of a waste management plant at PIMS. Rs30.45 million for installation of new refrigerators at the mortuary, Rs545 million for upgradation of air-conditioning (HVAC) plant, Rs59.9 million for the Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) department and another Rs316.7 million have been allocated for procuring new MRI equipment for PIMS.
