Rawalpindi: Parks & Horticulture Authority (PHA) Rawalpindi, in collaboration with Taqreebaat Private Limited is continuing to celebrate spring this year with Jashan-e-Rawalpindi.
‘Revival of Rawalpindi’ aims to weave the residents of Rawalpindi for rejoicing the city’s glory. It not only promotes cultural diversity but also strengthens co-operative ties between locals.
The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has also started work on formulating a feasibility study for building a new food street near Committee Chowk.
The respective plans are being taken in regards to Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between PHA and Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industries (RCCI), for the revival of beautification and heritage of Pindi.
PHA Chairman Asif Mehmood has stated that the proposed land comes under Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA). Construction on the street will start to post its grant approval.
The food street will have a range of cuisines, secured parking area with the availability of clean public washrooms.
