ISLAMABAD: The price of petrol has been increased by Re 1 for the month of November by the federal government with effect from today. The announcement was made through a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance.
In accordance with recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority, the new price of petrol is Rs 114.24 per litre as compared to the previous rate of Rs 113.24. Meanwhile, the price of high speed diesel (HSD) was increased by Rs0.27 per litre, going up from Rs127.14 per litre to Rs127.41 per litre.
On the other hand, kerosene and light diesel oil (LDO) prices witnessed a dip of Rs2.39 and Rs6.56 respectively. Kerosene will sell for Rs97.18 and light diesel oil at Rs85.33 in November.
