PDWP okays development schemes worth Rs1.8bn

LAHORE: Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) has given go-head to two uplift schemes worth Rs1.806 billion for the urban development and local government sectors.

As per reports, the development projects were approved in a meeting chaired by Chairman Planning & Development Board Abdullah Khan Sumbal. 

According to details, the schemes approved include Rainwater Management-Drainage Arrangement Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore worth Rs653.212 million and Strengthening of Programme Management Unit (PMU) and City Implementation Units (CIUs) for; (a) Punjab Intermediate Cities Improvement Investment Project (PICIIP) and (b) Project Readiness Financing (PRF) under Punjab Urban Development Projects” worth Rs1.153 billion.
