PDWP approves 3 development schemes worth Rs25.85bn

LAHORE: A sum of Rs47 billion has been released by the Punjab Finance Department to complete 3605 development projects under the District Development Programme for the financial year 2021-2022.

According to Punjab’s Finance Department, the grant has been released to ensure equitable development in the districts of Punjab under the flag of a balanced district development strategy.

Commenting on the release of the grant, Punjab Finance Minister said that it would ensure the social inclusion of the people in the whole process, which will ensure that less developed areas also get an equal share in the development process.
