The first park on our list is none other than the famous ‘Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park.’ Located near Allama Iqbal Town, the park covers around 67 acres (0.27 km2). The park is said to be one of the largest parks in Lahore.
The park was named after the famous poet Allama Iqbal. Apart from lush green areas and natural beauty, the park also has a vast variety of recreational rides for children and adults. The park also has an artificial lake and a mini-zoo, making it one of the best places to visit in Lahore.

The Lahore Wildlife Park is another great attraction in Lahore. It opened its doors to the general public in 1981. The park is a government-funded public facility spread across 242 acres (98 ha).
The largest walkthrough aviary is also present at the Lahore Wildlife Park, established in 2004. Boating and fishing facilities were also built near a lake. The lake is the biggest in the city and is spread across four islands.
Some of the park’s major attractions include a pair of lions, Indian peafowl, Bengal tiger, common pheasant, emu, lion, mute swan, nilgai, ostrich, and silver pheasant.

The next park that is exceptionally famous among the Lahoris is Jallo Park. The park is 20 km east of Lahore along Wagah – Amritsar Railway Line and ½ km from Canal Garden.
The park is spread across 837 acres. Previously, it was a reserve forest used for the production of timber, fuelwood, and forestry research. Out of this massive 837 area, 456 acres were then used to construct the park. Since then, the park has been turned into a theme park, representing various cultural, amusement and educational facilities.

Model Town Park, also known as Nawaz Sharif Park, is one of the oldest parks in Lahore. It is a spacious, well-maintained park and golf course in Model Town, Lahore, Pakistan. It was developed in 1990 by the Governor of Punjab, General (R) Ghulam Jilani Khan.

The park is also famous because of Minar-e-Pakistan. It is the home of Minar-e-Pakistan, and the 125-acre park also includes an artificial lake that spreads over four acres. The park also has an 800-feet-long musical fountain.
