ISLAMABAD: Japan and Pakistan have agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the import of thousands of skilled labour to be inducted in multiple sectors.
Minister and Deputy Head of Mission at Embassy of Japan in Pakistan Yusuke Shindo said that MoU could be signed in the coming month.
The labour is to be inducted in 14 different sectors with a major focus on construction, nursing care, agriculture, manufacturing and light engineering, and some other sectors, as informed by Shindo.
The Japanese diplomat praised Pakistani workers who are settled in Japan, saying they are more skilled and have a great work ethic. He also said that the commitment and honesty of these workers are exemplary.
