ISLAMABAD: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported that the goods and services trade with the United State of America (USA) saw a surplus of 63.58 per cent in the financial year (2021-22) as compared to last year.
As per data revealed by SBP, during July 2021-22 the exports were recorded at $ 503.118 million while during July 2020-21, the exports grew by 49.19 per cent to be at $337.228 million.
Moreover, Pakistan’s exports to other countries also soared by 9.73 per cent from $1.885 billion to $2.257 billion in the first month.
The imports from the USA witnessed an increase of 35.19 per cent from $170.985 million last year to $231.166 million in July 2021-22.
