MULTAN: Muhammad Afzal Nasir Khan, the Secretary of Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education (SH&ME) Department South Punjab, has issued a directive to ensure the timely completion and operationalization of Nishtar-II Hospital.
During a visit to the construction site, Khan emphasized the need for expeditious efforts and made it clear that no excuses would be accepted for any delay.
Accompanied by NMU VC, Dr Rana Altaf, MS Nishtar Hospital, Dr Amjad Rao, Deputy Secretary Ali Sajjad, and officials from the Infrastructure Development Authority of Punjab (IDAP), Khan inspected the ongoing construction work.
IDAP officials provided an update to the secretary, assuring him that the installation of machinery would be completed by May 30, as per the prescribed deadline.
Muhammad Afzal Nasir Khan expressed his confidence in the hospital’s potential to cater to the healthcare needs of the local population effectively.
