Toba Tek Singh: In a meeting of district planning and high level design committee chaired by Mian Mohsin Rasheed, approval for five housing schemes has been given. In addition to this five petrol pump cases from a total of six have also been cleared.
Design Committee has approved 4 out of 13 commercial building plans of Municipal Committee Toba, 5 of 15 for Municipal Committee Kamalia and 2 from 9 of Pir Mahal. 7 percent of the land has been allocated for the green belt within approved housing societies.
Chief Officers of District Councils and Municipal Committees have however been warned of a strict action against construction of any building without maps.
