Multan: The District Development Committee (DDC) on Wednesday approved 97 uplift schemes for Multan under the Community Development Program Phase 3 and released Rs 900 million for its execution.
As per details, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ali Shahzad chaired the meeting and announced that the projects included 23 local government schemes worth Rs 200.19 million, 32 highway projects worth Rs 410.25 million, 17 sewerage projects worth Rs. 121.5 million and 25 projects of Public Health Engineering worth Rs 164 million.
According to officials, the DDC agreed that PHA would undertake 14 projects costing Rs 21.9 million to beautify the city; Rs 3.6 million will be utilised for beautification of northern project, Rs 1.5 million for Allahbaksh colony park and Rs 10 million for development of PHA nurseries.
