Multan master plan: City infrastructure to be upgraded

MULTAN: Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) South Punjab Saqib Zafar, on Friday, stated that a master plan for Multan was in the pipeline based on international standards.

The announcement was made at an inter-departmental meeting about the uplift of the region. 

ACS South Punjab reiterated that the master plan for the city was development based on latest trends and needs of the citizens to allow for sustainable development. For this person, iron and other markets were relocated to outside the city. 

The focus of the government was on town planning and effectively developing a strategy. For this purpose, emphasis was also placed on the monitoring of the departments to ensure speedy delivery. 

Provincial minister for energy Dr Akhtar Malik stated that Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar was personally overseeing the uplift projects in the entire region.
