MIHS Admission Criteria

 

 

The admission criteria for the Margalla Institute of Health Sciences (MIHS) vary depending on the program that you are applying to.

 

Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)

F.Sc. Pre-Medical minimum 60% required.

MCAT score of at least 50% (100 marks).

Minimum age of 17 years.

 

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)

F.Sc. Pre-Medical minimum 50% required.

MCAT score of at least 50% (100 marks).

Minimum age of 17 years.

 

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

F.Sc. Pre-Medical minimum 60% required.

MCAT score of at least 50% (100 marks).

Minimum age of 17 years.

In addition to the above criteria, all applicants must also submit the following documents:

  • Attested copies of F.Sc. and Matriculation certificates
  • Attested copies of transcripts for F.Sc. and Matriculation
  • Attested copy of the MDCAT scorecard
  • Attested copies of CNIC (applicant and guardian)
  • Four passport-size photographs
  • Medical fitness certificate

All applications must be submitted online through the MIHS website.

 

Admission Process

Margalla Institute of Health Sciences treats everyone equally. Regardless of your gender, religion, race, colour, beliefs, or where you come from. A committee carefully selects students, and their selection is approved by the head of the colleges and the Board of Directors.

 

BDS

Here are the documents you need to apply:

  1. 4 recent photos (1×1 inch) with a blue background
  2. 12  passport-sized recent photos with a blue background
  3. One copy of a character certificate
  4. 6 copies of your SSC/O-Level certificates
  5. 6 copies of your HSSC/A-Level certificates
  6. 6 copies of the Equivalent Certificate from IBCC for O/A Level
  7. 6 copies of your student’s NIC/B Form
  8. 2 copies of your domicile certificate
  9. 6 copies of your parents’ or guardians’ NIC
  10. Original MCAT/ETEA Entry Test result/NTS
  11. An undertaking on original stamp paper and an NOC from a different university or board were both submitted after admission.
  12. Submission of a Mental and Physical Fitness Certificate is mandatory as per the PM&DC regulations, after admission.

Your application won’t be considered unless you fill out the form completely by yourself. If any of the certificates or documents you provide are fake, legal action will be taken, and your admission will be cancelled.

 

Pharm D and DPT

To apply, you need to provide some documents. Make sure to send the following copies along with your application form:

  1. 4 recent passport-size photos with a blue background.
  2. 12  recent photos with a blue background, each 1×1 inch in size.
  3. One copy of a character certificate.
  4. 6 copies of your SSC/O-Level certificates.
  5. 6 copies of your HSSC/A-Level certificates.
  6. 6 copies of the equivalent certificate from IBCC for the O/A Level.
  7. 6 copies of your Student’s NIC/B Form.
  8. 2 copies of your Domicile certificate.
  9. 6 copies of your parent’s/guardian’s NIC.
  10. Original copy of your MCAT/ETEA Entry Test result/NTS.
  11. Original NOC (No Objection Certificate) if you are from another Board/University. You also need to submit an Undertaking on a stamp paper after you get admitted.
  12. You will need to submit a Mental and Physical Fitness Certificate after you get admitted, as required by PMDC (Pakistan Medical and Dental Council).

Remember, your application will only be accepted if you fill out the form completely and in your own handwriting. If any of the certificates or documents you provide are fake, legal action will be taken against you, and your admission will be cancelled.
