LDA waives 50% commercial fee on health, education facilities

LAHORE: On the directives of Chief Minister, Punjab; Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has decided to waive off 50% commercialization fee on health and education facilities in all four districts of Lahore division to support the education and medical facilities, told LDA Vice Chairman, SM Imran.

He informed that under the new regulations, the duration for payment of the commercialization fee has also been increased to three years rather than two years, while an incentive of 5% discount is being given if the health or education facility decides to pay the commercialization fee at once.

The Vice-Chairman further informed that under LDA Land Use Regulations, 2020; the medical consultants can use 25% covered area of their residence for medical purposes.
