LAHORE: Campaigning against encroachments, the Town Planning Wing of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) under the supervision of Chief Planner Tahir Mayo, razed several encroachments and illegal structures across the provincial capital.
As per the media reports, numerous illegal shops were razed along Khayaban e Jinnah Road that violated the by-laws of the civic authority and did not show any compliance.
Similarly, the anti-encroachment drive also extended to Johar Town where the machinery of civic authority demolished the illegal structures.
The drive has enabled to retrieve the state land worth millions of rupees.
