The LDA DG stated that the project is significant for the development of the city since it connects the entrances and exits of Lahore. He also added that the completion of the project will resolve issues such as traffic congestion and sewerage in the area.
The DG expressed his satisfaction with the pace of the ongoing development. He also stated that the project will entail further beautification of the area as the government would also install traffic signs, LED street lights, and stormwater drains.
The completion of the Sagian Road project is essential for the city as it would benefit more than 100,000 vehicles that pass through this road on a daily basis, allowing millions of rupees to be saved in terms of fuel costs.
