Lahore: In a governing body meeting of Lahore Ring Road Authority chaired by the Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, the LDA City Phase-1 project was approved.  The plotting work will be completed within eight months.

The CM has directed full implementation of special person recruitment quota, digitization of file system and establishment of bus terminals for provincial metropolis through private-public partnership. He also deliberated on beautifying entry exit points of the city, taking of practical steps to smoothen traffic flow and uplifting of business centres.

The CM has directed to form a committee for hiring a consultant for Lahore Division master plan- 2040. It aims to formulate policies for planning high-rises. The proposal for excluding other districts from the jurisdiction of LDA was also considered.

Early completion of welfare projects should remain priority, he said.
