LDA carries operation against unlawful structures

LAHORE: During an operation against illegal structures, Directorate Private Housing Schemes of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) razed multiple unlawful constructions at the Pak Arab Housing Scheme on Ferozepur Road.

According to the LDA representative, eight illegal constructions built on public land and mortgaged land were demolished during the operation in the presence of police officials and the enforcement squad.

LDA Director-General stated that such operations would continue until all unlawful structures and commercial activities were completely eradicated. The Director of the LDA Directorate of Private Housing Schemes indicated that individuals should seek information from the LDA about the legal status before buying plots in any private housing scheme.
