
LAHORE: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) approved the construction of a Rs 78 million bridge on PECO Road for the benefit of citizens especially women and the elderly.
The project was proposed by Punjab Ombudsman Maj (retd) Azam Suleman Khan.
The bridge is expected to ease traffic congestion and help the citizens by providing a safe passage and connecting the southern and northern parts of the city.
Moreover, to promote tourism, the Sheikhupura administration directed relevant officials to increase the volume of visitors to Ayesha Park.
The officials were also directed to induct four gardeners and other essential staff for the park’s maintenance.
