PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government announced ten mega-projects worth Rs65 billion, under the District Development Plan.
Under the district development plan, a total of 65 roads, 41 water supply projects, and a solar energy transfer project will be completed in the Hazara Division at the cost of Rs9.90bn.
The Rs9.20 billion Peshawar District Development Plan includes 15 sub-projects for clean water supply and eight irrigation projects.
Two road projects and five water projects will be completed under the District Development Plan for Nowshera, whereas four road projects will be constructed in Charsadda.
The Mardan and Swabi District Development Plan includes eight water supply schemes each, worth Rs9.58 billion.
A sum of Rs6.37 billion has been allocated to construct three road projects in Shangla and irrigation and three roads projects in Swat.
A sum of Rs9.70 billion has been allocated to construct 5 roads in Lower Dir, two irrigation projects, three roads and two irrigation schemes in Upper Dir, and two roads and one irrigation project in Malakand.
One road project in Hangu, one irrigation and road project in Karak and three road projects will be constructed in Kohat for Rs4.5 billion.
A total of Rs4.60 billion has been allocated to set up one solar energy and two irrigation projects in Bannu. In addition, Rs4.70 billion has been allocated to carry out the District Development Plan in Dera Ismail Khan Division.
