HARIPUR, Pakistan — The long-awaited Haripur Housing Project is set to break ground, with the first phase scheduled to commence within the next three to six months, according to Dr. Amjad Ali, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Housing. This landmark initiative, spearheaded by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, aims to redefine urban living standards in the region.
Dr. Ali revealed that a comprehensive survey, initiated under the directives of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, has identified 3,100 kanals of land for the project. Out of this, 2,765 kanals will be allocated for residential development, while the remaining space will host recreational and commercial facilities.
The initial phase, spanning 1,200 kanals, will feature cutting-edge amenities designed to attract both residents and investors. Dr. Ali emphasized the urgency of completing the project’s feasibility study to secure timely approvals and launch construction without delays.
During a briefing attended by MPA Akbar Ayub Khan, former minister Yousuf Ayub Khan, and officials from the KP Housing Authority, Communication & Works (C&W), and local government departments, the transformative potential of the housing project was underscored.
Yousuf Ayub Khan highlighted the project’s strategic importance, stating that it would rejuvenate Haripur’s infrastructure and elevate the quality of life for its residents. Located a mere 40 kilometers from Islamabad, the Haripur Housing Project is poised to become a sought-after destination for those seeking modern, well-planned living spaces.
The Haripur Housing Project is more than a residential initiative—it is a catalyst for economic growth and regional development. With its blend of state-of-the-art facilities, strategic location, and recreational opportunities, the project is expected to attract significant investment while providing much-needed housing solutions.
As the provincial government gears up for this ambitious venture, the Haripur Housing Project is poised to set a new benchmark for urban development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, heralding a new era of prosperity and modernity for the region.
