The filed cases reveal that thieves have been stealing up to 60 trash trolleys and bins per month. Authorities from the CDA emphasize that FIRs have been lodged against culprits involved in the theft of trolleys used for garbage collection from sectors E-11 and G-6. The stolen trolleys and bins are believed to be sold for scrap metal.

The disappearance of these trolleys has caused difficulties for residents in managing their waste disposal, as they are essential for the city’s garbage collection process. The CDA owns these trash bins and trolleys, and their collective value amounts to millions of rupees.

Cases related to these thefts have been registered in various police stations, including Aabpara, Shalimar, Ramna, Sabzi Mandi, and Shahzad Town.
