ISLAMABAD: The President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari has urged the authorities to remove the illegal settlements in the local markets to facilitate smooth business growth.
During a meeting with the Director of Municipal Administration (DMA), CDA, Yasir Farhad, the president stressed the need to develop plans for weekly monitoring or survey of the settlements to ensure coordination between relevant departments.
Moreover, the requirement for various facilities, such as parking spaces, replacement of outdated sewerage systems, fixing footpaths, paving roads, and restoring non-functional streetlights in multiple markets was emphasized by Bakhtawari.
He also requested DMA communicate these concerns to the Chairman of CDA to take prompt action.
