The Capital Development Authority (CDA) stated on Monday that allottees would get possession in the near future as development work in the three sub-sectors of I-15 is about to be completed.
According to the spokesperson, around 5000 allottees are set to receive possession after a period of 15 years as the regulatory body was focusing on the construction and expansion of the city.
Owners will finally be able to build houses on their respective plots, he added.
Development work in sectors I-15/1, 1-15/3 and I-15/4 comprise a drainage system, sewerage network, culverts, streets, street lights and the provision of other facilities.
This would also help in addressing the housing shortage in the capital city over time.
