ISLAMABAD: Under the Public-Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2020-21, the government has released funds worth Rs476.6 billion, out of Rs650 billion, for the ongoing and new development projects.
Out of the total, a sum of Rs7 billion has been released for the Housing and Works Division.
For the development of special areas, a sum of Rs21.54 billion and Rs18.18 billion was released for the development projects of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan for the financial year 2020-2021. In addition, Rs98 billion has been released for development projects of the National Highways Authority (NHA)
A total of Rs2.84 billion and Rs6.46 billion have been released for the Planning Division and the Revenue Division. The government also released Rs1.2 billion for the development project of the Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA).
