Government retains CNIC condition for unregistered buyers

ISLAMABAD: In order to widen the tax net, the government has decided to retain the condition of the provision of Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) for unregistered buyers in the upcoming fiscal year.

According to the details, the government has decided to maintain the provision in Finance Bill 2021 despite resistance from various stakeholders.
