Islamabad: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued an alert for the possible flash floods and landslides for different regions of the country including Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
According to PMD, monsoon currents from the Bay of Bengal are likely to enter north-eastern and south-eastern parts of the country, which may result in a heavy rainfall over the weekend until Tuesday in the central and upper parts of the country. The westerly wave of the rainfall will enter the upper parts of the country today.
