FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has been cracking down on illegal housing schemes in the first quarter of 2023, as 80 of these schemes were sealed and their structures demolished.
According to an FDA spokesperson, the authority has been diligent in ensuring that developers comply with rules and regulations.
In the first four months of the year, the FDA registered 102 cases against housing scheme developers who breached the guidelines. The challans for these cases were sent to the court of law for further action.
The importance of following the FDA’s guidelines was emphasized in a news report, stressing the need to safeguard citizens’ rights and interests. To enhance information access for citizens, the FDA also established a helpline.
