ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) exceeded the revenue collection of the set for Rs441 billion set for February 2022 – marking a growth of 28.5 percent.
The net collection for Feb 2022 stood at Rs443 billion, FBR reported.
Taking the microblogging website – Twitter, Prime Minister Imran Khan, and Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Shaukat Tarin lauded the revenue board for the achievement.
During the first eight months of the current fiscal year – 2021-22, revenues worth Rs 3,799 billion were collected, exceeding the set target of Rs 268 billion.
