The service is particularly suitable for passengers with heavy or excess luggage, although it is not limited to them. Porters are available to help with your luggage from the DROP-LANE to the CHECK-IN counters and from the BAGGAGE CLAIM to the PICK-UP LANE. If you are departing, you can find the Porter Service Desk in the concourse hall. Alternatively, they can be found near the Baggage area at the Arrival Lounges. For assistance, please contact the CAA Facilitation Desk. 

The charges for PFS/Porter services are as follows: 

  • Domestic Passengers: Rs. 200/-
  • International Passengers: Rs. 400/-

Passenger Guide/Cautions for Passengers: 

  • Please only acquire the porter service from the designated PFS Counter mentioned above.
  • Remember to obtain a fresh Copen Slip from the Counter Staff.
  • Make sure to properly fill out the Porter Slip with your Flight Number, Date/Time, and Helper/Porter Number, etc.
  • Keep this Slip in your possession and do not return it to the Helper/Porter.
  • Porter charges are only to be paid once at the counter against the coupon slip.
  • Focus only on the services provided by the designated Porter identifiable by their uniform, available at the counter.

 

Emergency & Medical Services

The main goals are: 

  • Providing top-notch first aid medical facilities to passengers of all airlines, airport staff, and CAA employees, and ensuring the emergency evacuation of critical cases to the nearest Government Hospital for medical care.
  • Conducting inspections of food outlets and other areas to maintain high standards of hygiene and quality.
  • For medical assistance, passengers can reach out to the CAA Facilitation/Information Helpdesk located at the Arrival, Departure, Business Lounge, or Concourse Hall.
  • The Airport Medical Centre, situated adjacent to the CAA Mosque, is also available for assistance.
  • Assistance is provided to senior citizens and individuals with special needs.
  • Medical and emergency services are accessible to all deserving passengers, and appropriate facilities are clearly marked with internationally recognised symbols.
  • Passengers requiring such assistance should inform their respective airlines in advance and can also contact the dedicated airline counters in the Arrival and Departure Halls for wheelchair services.

 

Special Handling for Senior Citizen

A dedicated facility is provided for all privileged special passengers and senior citizens. The facilities are clearly marked and identified with internationally recognised symbols. Passengers with such requirements are advised to inform their respective airlines in advance. They can also contact the concerned airlines to request wheelchair services at the special counters located in the Arrival, Departure Halls, or Concourse Hall.
