It is situated in Marghazar Zoo, and is the first of its kind in Pakistan, featuring life-size dinosaur sculptures. The project was completed through collaboration between the CDA administration, Marghazar Zoo administration, and the contractor. Tourist guides are available to provide an introduction to the installed dinosaur models. Those visiting the Marghazar Zoo can access the park at no extra charge. It is considered one of the best places to visit in Islamabad.

The inaugural ceremony for the installation of the dinosaur models at the zoo was held on November 05, 2013. Member Environment CDA Ahsan Ali Mangi was the chief guest, and attendees were given information about the history of dinosaurs.
