ECC approves Rs2bn for PM’s low-cost housing scheme

ISLAMABAD: In a meeting chaired by Finance Minister Hammad Azhar of Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) on Wednesday, Rs2bn were approved for the PM’s low-cost housing scheme.

As per the details, Rs128.7mn were also approved by ECC for Ministry of Housing and Works for the development of various projects in Sindh.

Similarly, ECC approved Technical Supplementary Grants (TSG) worth Rs5552mn for various ministries and divisions.

The meeting was attended by Federal Minister for Planning Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar, Federal Minister for Interior Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, and Minister for Energy Omar Ayub Khan along with other government officials.
