The hotel began as a small camping site in 1994. Later, it expanded to a small resort with eight rooms and one restaurant. Today, the hotel has grown significantly by adding a main restaurant, a lobby, and new terraces. Eagle Nest is the first hotel to introduce lodging in Duiker, Altit Valley. The hotel has come a long way since 2019, now boasting 49 rooms.
