ISLAMABAD: “Data digitization, transaction model and effective planning in real estate sector will play a major role to help boost the national economy,” said Chairman Imarat Group of Companies, CEO Graana.com Shafiq Akbar in the weekly meeting of the National Coordination Committee for Housing, Construction and Development.
He further highlighted the main issues existing in Pakistan’s real estate sector and briefed the meeting on how to resolve the issues.
The meeting was presided over by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Khan maintained that the top priority of the government is to promote the construction sector and boost economic activities.
He further directed the concerned authorities to provide all possible facilities in order to accommodate the construction sector.
A few of the prestigious attendees of the meeting included Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz, Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Political Communication Dr. Shahbaz Gill, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam, Governor State Bank Tariq Bajwa, Secretary finance Naveed Kamran Baloch, Secretary Planning and Development, Chairman Naya Pakistan Housing Authority, Deputy Chairman Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme, Secretary Housing and Works, Secretary Power, Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Javed Ghani, Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Amer Ali Ahmed, and Waseem Hayat Bajwa Director General Federal Housing Employees Foundation.
