Prior to this, 16 firms participated in the tendering process held in September by the CDA. The contract was awarded to the lowest bidding firm.

The phase-I of the development project worth Rs. 97.107 million includes dualisation of the service road, drainage system installation of culverts and allied work.

In addition, work to develop the whole infrastructure approved in the 45th meeting of CDA-DWP will also be started, which includes road network, water supply, sewerage, drainage and improving the electrical work of the sector.

Efficiently monitoring the project, the concerned authorities have been directed to ensure timely completion of the development work to enable the allottees to begin construction of houses in their allotted plots.
